Cabin Description:  Your dream vacation has come true!! Nature itself was the model for this 2 bedroom, 1 bath rustic cabin that comfortably sleeps 6. The stresses of modern day life slowly recede once you enter this rustic cabin. A slower pace of life is what you'll experience once you open the door. The cabin is inviting, cozy and at the same time, when your there, you get the feeling that the cabin is one with the outdoors, almost as if it were one continuous space. You truly feel that you're on vacation in this restful spot on the Blue Ridge Mountains. Dogwood Mountain Retreat is an ideal getaway for honeymooners, families or a small group of friends. A large deck runs the full length of the cabin, adding plenty of outdoor living space. The view from the deck reminds you of the early pioneer days; peaceful and undeveloped. Watch the wildlife that's abundant around the cabin and breathe in the fresh mountain air. At Dogwood Mountain Retreat our goal is to create a totally comfortable environment for our guests. 

The fireplace is the focal point of the great room with overstuffed sofa and chairs. The Jacuzzi room is bright and sunny all year round. One bedroom has an antique oak, 6 foot headboard, full size bed. The second bedroom has a handmade queen size bed, both dressed with cozy quilts.

Remember our state motto: "Virginia is for Lovers". Dogwood Mountain Retreat is only 85 minutes from the capitol beltway.

• Canoeing, kayaking, swimming and tubing on the Shenandoah River and Lake Arrowhead

• Horseback riding, sightseeing antiquing

• Spring and Fall festivals and wine tasting

• Visit Luray Caverns and Skyline Caverns

• Play Golf at the Luray Caverns Country Club, Shenvalee and Front Royal Golf Courses

• Hike in the Shenandoah National Park, George Washington Nation Forest and most country and back roads in Page County

• You can also visit Civil War Sites and the New Market Battlefield
