Chalet Description:

Wow!! What a View!!  Sunset View Chalet offers one of the best views around. The Sunsets are unbelievably beautiful from this cabin. That’s how Sunset View Chalet got it’s name. The first time we saw the cabin the view and the sunsets were incredible.   Enjoy the peace and quiet from this great cabin.  The cabin is private, it sits on 12 acres with an additional 100 acres of woods around it.  It is not in a big subdivision with cabins all around, in fact there is no other cabin in site of Sunset View Chalet.  The cabin sits on a hillside at the base of The Blue Ridge Mountains. It is only a couple hundred yards away from the famous Shenandoah National Park, so there is a lot of wildlife around the cabin such as birds, rabbits, squirrels and deer.  In fact you can watch the deer play in the small meadow right at the cabin.  After a day of hiking on nearby trails, relax in the 6-person Jacuzzi hot tub on the deck overlooking the view and valley below.

The cabin’s exterior is cedar siding and it’s interior is knotty pine walls and ceiling with exposed beams and hardwood floors.  No drywall or vinyl siding here.  You get a true mountain cabin experience as if it was an old time log cabin.  The cabin has a 2-story wall of glass that lets the outside become part of the inside.  The cabin has been decorated in the country style with unique items from around the area.  The cabin sleeps 6-7 with 2 queen beds, queen sofa sleeper & single cot.  Sleep in the loft bedroom and again you will have a view of the mountains.  Have fun sleeping under one of our cozy country quilts.  The cabin has a full kitchen with all cookware and dishware, or cook outdoors on the gas BBQ grill or the charcoal grill, your choice. 

A word about cleanliness.  Rest assure that the cabin is clean.  We pride ourselves on keeping it that way.  We are a small owner of  vacation cabin rentals, and we clean them ourselves.
